Comments or other details I would love to take credit for these fish, but I must give the credit to Larry M. We watched him hammer some nice ones, the day before, while deep-diving a crank over 18-20ft of water. We didn't have the exact lures to "lick that pot", so we ran into town and got some. Lucky for us we found the best little tackle shop that you may never have heard of. Hale's tackle shop on, Appleby Sands road, was a pleasant surprise! Mr. Hale welcomed us into his small shop and we immediately realized that he knew what he was doing. If he ain't got it, you probably don't need it, but he can get it. Thanks, Mr. Hale!! Back to the lake. It took all of two casts to hook into a nice 3.5lb'er. Then the best fisherman in the boat caught a 5.5lb'er. Running a deep crank seems to be the ticket for these deep suspended fish. Yes, you might lose a lure or two, but it's worth it. Hope you Git Bit! CPR Fishing
