Comments or other details Love me some crappie, but lets face it... Naconiche isn't called "The best Texas bass lake you've never heard of" for no reason. (Google that s***) Caught 16 today, with only a few in the less than average category. Most of these fish were skinny, with BIG heads. That means that this is the time to be fishing. Aggressive fish with the goal to get fat for the cold water to come. Anything that mimics the shad that they are chasing is the ticket. Shad imitation underspin or a shad color jerk bait are what worked for us. If you want to see where I'm going to catch'em, give me a call. If you mention this report, you'll get 20% off your booking.
