Comments or other details Some days are diamonds, some days are 27deg and sleeting. 😨 Our diamond day was Thursday, just before the NASTY weather. We caught 7 fish in about 15 minutes, including a double hook-up. Those are the days we love about this lake. Then the freeze came in. Don't get me wrong... we went out Friday morning and lasted about an hour. 1 fish, 2 frozen fishermen, and 3 hours to thaw out! We finally got back out Saturday evening once the wind and rain died off. Our guest managed 1 more fish before dark. That's the way it goes. Diamonds or Ice! Life is still good! If you're waiting for the "beautiful" weather of Spring, you might miss out on some really big fish getting fat in time for the spawn. Come enjoy the Retreat, it doesn't sleet in the warmth of a cozy cabin. NacoTack Fishing Services
